So these are my two lovefaces. I'm crazy about them but I can't keep them. One of my roommates wants them out ASAP, and besides, I don't know where I'm going to be next year. There are strong chances that I will be moving to Europe in 2009 and I can't responsibly justify adopting them. But I really love them and want to do everything in my power to make sure that they find loving, stable homes. The kitten I'm not so worried about, he'd probably get snatched up almost instantly from the SPCA's adoption centre. No, my main concern is the mother. I just can't bear the thought of her being put down because no one wants her. She's not that old (I'd say about a year or so only) but she's clearly not a kitten anymore and even though she's gorgeous and healthy now, going back to the disease-ridden SPCA would not be in her best interests, I find.|
So please, please, please, guys. If you or anyone you know in the Montreal (or even Ottawa) area is looking for kitties, drop me a line. There is a fee for adopting these guys, since they're SPCA foster pets, but I do believe it includes sterilization and a bunch of other health benefits. They've stolen my heart, and I'm sure they'll steal yours as well.
She's a gorgeous young polydactyl female. Not big on being picked up and cuddled, although she does have her moments (I think she may have been abused prior to winding up with us). She does need attention and affection, however, and is of a very curious and playful nature. Basically, she's a giant kitten.
He's about three months old now. Of a similar temperament as his mother. Is not big on cuddles, but will jump up into your lap for a nap when the mood strikes him. VERY hyper and playful. Currently recovering from a sprained wrist.
Please help me help my sweethearts.
PS: Coco- if you want to repost these pictures and this info, that would be wonderful! Or, heck, anyone. Actually, maybe linking to this entry would be best.
